Tai Shan has been missing from action on the live cam in Bifengxia, China lately. Pandas International just announced that’s because Mr. Shan is entering their breeding program!  Pandas are notoriously vulnerable breeders. Getting pregnant and keeping panda babies alive and healthy has been tricky business.  Incidentally, today is Chinese New Year as well! To Tai Shan’s health, happiness, and much luck in his new role this year!
