What’s Up?
This is Tai Shan, who became world famous when he was born in the National Zoo in 2005, and was the first panda baby to survive. At the age of four, he moved to China and the Wolong Nature Reserve where he lives in a natural habitat and is part of the effort to procreate his endangered species.
Tai Shan means “peaceful mountain,”and he certainly is. Check out more photos of Tai Shan at Explore.org.
