Rita Marley’s foundation in Ghana works to strengthen the community of Konkonuru by building a brand-new medical clinic and improving its school. Her and her husband, Bob Marley, too their “songs of love, hope, unity, and struggle [and] became the mothership that transported reggae music, the message of Rastafari, and the culture of the people of Jamaica to the four corners of the earth.”
